Cast
- Onew - He was the most nervous about raising a child and had the most difficulty getting close to Yoogeun. He picked up Yoogeun for the first time in the last episode.
- Jonghyun - Along with Onew, he was also nervous about raising a child, although he quickly warmed up to Yoogeun. He was often jealous of Yoogeun's favoritism of Key and Minho.
- Key - He was also known as the most motherly. He was the most excited about Yoogeun and was his favorite father for most of the episodes.
- Minho - He was known as the most loving father, though to Yoogeun, he usually came in second place after Key. He played with Yoogeun the most and always worried about him. He was also said to resemble Yoogeun.
- Taemin - The youngest and known as the most childlike. He cared greatly about Yoogeun, and was the most eager to teach him new things. Yoogeun sometimes referred to him as 'Taeminnie appa' after hearing the other fathers call him 'Taeminnie'.
The Shinee members were each ranked by Yoogeun's choice each week.
- Jung Yoogeun, the 4 year-old toddler that Shinee had to take care of as the main concept of the variety show. He loves Power Rangers and dancing to Shinee's song Ring Ding Dong. He loved all the Shinee fathers, but his favorite was usually Key or Minho. He often was said to resemble Minho. His favorite drink was banana milk.
Concept
The Shinee appas took care of a baby boy named Jung Yoogeun. He is 4 years old (in Korean years) and was born October 25, 2007. Hello Baby works like a reality series following Shinee and Yoogeun's time together, watching how they would interact with and raise a child. Situations came up like Yoogeun getting upset and crying over something and Shinee had to figure out ways to calm him down and fix the problem. They also regularly made meals for him, bought him clothes and toys, played with him, taught him new words and manners, and even made video messages for him when they were away from Korea.
